Add quick scripts to automate link sharing

Take your sharing game to the next level with Tixio Scripts.

Automate the link sharing, making links pop up when you want, where you want. Make information available to people exactly when they need it.

📍Prerequisite: Users must have Tixio lite installed to get the popup links to appear on their webpage.
Create a script
  • Step 1: Go to Script Center from the left bar
  • Step 2: Hit the (+) button to create a script or a folder.
  • Step 3: Please make sure the person you're sharing with has Tixio Lite installed.

Configure script
Who to share with?

Select who you want the links to with the toggle button. Select a workspace to share with all workspace members. Select Group/Individual to share with specific groups/members.

Type the name of members or created groups to select. You can add multiple groups and people together as well.

What to show on extension?
  • Step 1: Give the link / URL you want to show on the extension pop-up when someone visits a webpage.
  • Step 2: Give a good title to describe what the link is about
  • Step 3: Also add a description to share more detail on the link.

Where to show?
  • Step 1: Add the link or URL of the webpage, where you want to show your important links to.
  • Step 2: Add how many times you want this link to appear in the When to show section.
  • Step 3: Select a match pattern for each link.
    Broad match: The Link will appear when any part of the URL is visited
    Exact match: The Link will appear when the exact URL is visited
  • Step 4: Add more links below and configure each of them separately.
  • Step 5: Click the See Preview button to see how it will look on the webpage.
  • Step 6: Click the Set Live button to save the script.

Please insert the full URL, i.e. https://www.example.com

Edit or delete scripts

Once a script is created you can edit or delete script later on.

Note: If you're the admin or owner of the workspace, you can see all the scripts created by workspace members and edit them as well.
